Arthur “Ardee” Davenport (né Tebeal)
I earned my bachelor’s of arts in Liberal Arts (fields in English Literature and Communication, minor in psychology) from Murray State University in 2016. For my senior thesis, I researched resources in Kentucky for college students with communication and speech disorders (available for free here).
I am passionate about the written word and visual arts. My strengths center on versatility and precision— while working solely through remote technology. My kindness, compassion, and honesty are key components in my career. I thrive when challenged to find strategic solutions for complex problems.
I have been self-employed since 2009, in part due to poor health and disabilities. Still, I am consistently told that I exceed expectations, overcome barriers, and rethink standard methods in more accessible ways. My flexible schedule allows me to take on multiple clients for short-term and low-hour projects.
Happily married to my college sweetheart since 2022, we share our home with my sister-in-law and our two beloved cats that we rescued as kittens–who “assist” me with projects by enforcing play/stretch breaks and having cameos in calls.
“Ardee has worked for me for a couple of years now. What I’ve noticed most is a willingness to learn new things, with great results. I’ve found Ardee to be hard working and trustworthy, eager to help me reach my goals.”
– Susan Page Davis, award-winning author of more than 100 books, including the Maine Justice series.
“Arthur’s helped me with several projects over the past few years. He’s shown himself to be a diligent worker, with a strong sense of commitment. Can’t recommend enough.”
– Samuel Medlock
“Working with Arthur was a breeze! He took the direction I provided, tweaked a couple of things with his knowledge and expertise, and gave me just what I needed—quickly. I’d turn to him again in a heartbeat.”
– Michael Ehret, freelance editor and author of Beyond December and Big Love.
